Bio

My first time on a climbing rope was when I was about three years old. At this time, it was just one of many sportive activities we did as a family. Before I started climbing seriously I trained as a gymnast where I learnt how to move my body. In 2007 my parents thought my brother and I could have fun climbing at a competition and they signed us up for a regional boulder event. After I surprisingly won this competition I started my first regular training. In 2012 I became member of the national team and participated in my first international competition. My favorite discipline has always been Lead and that’s also where I made my best results as for example the Worldcup victory in Villars 2019 or the European Championship title 2020. But I also love to play on boulders and even had some fun in speed climbing when training for the Olympic combined. I’m not climbing that much outdoors but I always try to spend some weeks at the crag as well because it’s just good for your mind and it gives you a lot of energy for the training.
Since most of the competitions were cancelled in 2020, I had time to climb more outdoors. I was able to climb several 9a’s including the first ascent of “Schwarz Mönch” in Gimmelwald. The second half of the year the focus was back on competitions for the European Championships in Moscow. For me it was a great competition with the Victory in Lead and 2. Place in Combined, but it was also disappointing since I missed the last European Olympic place.
