La Sportiva Hiking Weeeknd 2018

To them, it was enough to put a small check mark after purchasing on the website www.lasportiva.com to win two unforgettable days in Val di Fiemme.
The time of a click, and five lucky winners from Austria, Slovak Republic, Poland and Italy, have come to prepare their luggage for living an unforgettable outdoor experience in the Dolomites with La Sportiva staff.

Once arrived in Val di Fiemme and being warmly welcome at the company head quarter, the winners took part to a tour of the factory where the biggest part of La Sportiva’s climbing shoes and mountain boots come to life.
With this feeling flowing in the feet and a brand-new pair of hiking boots on, the crew has left for the mountains discovering two different spots in the heart of the Dolomites, World Heritage Site since 2010.

Despite a traditional autumn day’s weather, the first day’s program included a hike to Mount Cornon under a seasonal drizzle, which did not prevent the group from reaching the top of this peak above the village of Tesero, where La Sportiva was founded 90 years ago, which also today has a particular meaning for the Delladio’ family. On the way down, a traditional coffee break in the local “La Bassa” hut offered to the attendees a good opportunity to enjoy the mountain lifestyle at 100%.
The second day, instead, the LaSpo fellowship moved to Passo Rolle, a journey through the most beautiful panoramas underneath the Cimon della Pala and the warfare history of the First World War, here fought from 1915 to 1916 and where is still possible find trenches and old military stakeouts.

During the entire experience, Terezia, Daniel, Francesca, Stefan and Mateusz got the chance to test on the field the newest La Sportiva mountain hiking products, as the Skin T-shirt with Body-mapped venting system, and the latest released Spire and Stream GTX with Gore-Tex Surround technology, the exclusive membrane that guarantees 360° breathability thanks to the wider aeration surface that comprises the uppers, footbed and EVA midsole with side ventilation outlets.
