Skorpius CR II has been designed for the most demanding ski mountaineers to take on the biggest ascents and descents across the most technical terrains and remote the most remote locations. The perfect companion for great ski races because of their superb comfort when walking - always required when tackling the most inaccessible summits with skis on your back. The bio-based Pebax® Rnew shell is reinforced with carbon fibre, allowing reduced thicknesswithout compromising the structure's strength. The result is a lightweight boot for ascents but highly rigid, supportive and efficient for descents.
The introduction of the BOA® Fit System provides fine adjustments for the shell's closure, offering high precision both on ascents and descents. The Pebax® EZ 3D Flex Tongue™ gives a wide range of movement for the ankle both on steep slopes and when crossing long stretches of flat terrain. The ski/walk SWING-LOCK System™ closure mechanism with pivotal rotation ensures an optimal fastening speed and avoids exposing mechanical parts to accidental damage against rocks by making the most technical walking sections easier.
