Road to Paris 2024: La Sportiva announces its partnership with FASI

La Sportiva is pleased to announce the partnership signed with FASI, the Italian Rock Climbing Federation, a national body that promotes the discipline of sport climbing and coordinates amateur and competitive climbing activities in Italy.

Common vision and shared commitment to the promotion of climbing culture are the pillars on which the partnership is based. It was established at a time when the discipline was very well known, but dates back to a time when climbing was considered a niche activity practised by a few enthusiasts. In fact, La Sportiva continues to invest in athletes and the Federation with the aim of transforming climbing into a sport that can excite and inspire entire generations to reach ever-higher peaks and to work to overcome their limits and the many obstacles they are likely to encounter. 

La Sportiva, which sees climbing as the core business of its activity and which counts itself among the spokesmen of the category's global success, will make its contribution through the supply of specialized clothing, supporting national youth climbing and paraclimbing athletes during their vertical adventures in the upcoming Paris 2024 Olympics. The cooperation between them aims to make all aspects of climbing natural, smooth, comfortable and fun. Among the names of the young talents that La Sportiva will support, all eyes are on Matteo Zurloni, holder of the European record in the speed category.
