La Sportiva is opening its first Paris Store: La Sportiva Bivouac

Over the past two years, this global outdoor specialist has witnessed significant growth in the hiking, trail running and climbing sectors - 3 major disciplines that La Sportiva caters to. This family-run company has always pioneered mountain sports and has become the go-to brand for outdoor activities thanks to its values, the quality of its products and its athletes with and for whom La Sportiva works to supply them with the best equipment on the market.

In order to capitalise on its role as a market leader, the brand decided to set up an outlet in the city set to host the 2024 Olympic Games, which will include sport climbing events.

This pop-up store will be the new go-to outlet for mountain sports enthusiasts where they'll find all the brand's products (trail running, trekking, mountaineering, and ski mountaineering textiles and footwear).

These technically advanced, top-quality products have been developed in partnership with international athletes, who have always been part of the La Sportiva family. Mountaineering will be under the spotlight with the arrival of the 2024 Olympic Games, and therefore in tune with the world's leading climbing brand for over 90 years.  The growth of indoor and outdoor climbing in France provides the perfect opportunity for the brand to set up a retail presence in the capital and offer products that cover all aspects of this discipline.

The La Sportiva temporary store will open on 17th June in one of the Au Vieux Campeur chain's stores. Au Vieux Campeur is a Parisian institution for all outdoor sports enthusiasts. It comprises an outlet village of over 20 shops in Paris's Latin Quarter, each of which caters to a particular sport. The Italian brand has been present in Parisian stores for numerous years. A long-standing collaboration perfect in terms of bringing our project to fruition. La Sportiva will be located at 42 rue des écoles, until February 2025.
