La Sportiva presents Alpine Tech: the first line of clothing for an uncompromising mountain

La Sportiva presents the new Alpine Tech clothing line for the FW23 season, designed and built for the most demanding mountaineers.

Quality, functionality, technicality and innovation are the key elements that characterise the collection, born from the collaboration between La Sportiva and a working group made up of mountain guides and athletes. Drawing on their experience at the summit, they have provided the personal expertise and know-how to create this line, the jewel in the crown of technical mountaineering. A comparison that started with Richard Bolt, a well-known Swiss mountain guide, and continued with field tests by athletes such as Roger Schaeli and François Cazzanelli, who relied on Alpine Tech's styles to tackle some of their most arduous feats. Thanks to the valuable feedback, La Sportiva then worked on the creation of a line that combines comfort, durability, protection and freedom of movement and which prides itself on being created with the input of those who live the mountains every day.

The undisputed highlight is the  Supercouloir GTX Pro proposal developed for modern ice and mixed climbing: hardshell jacket and trousers designed to offer extreme protection, abrasion resistance and freedom of movement during the most specialist winter activities, while the  Supercouloir 1000 Down jkt features 1000cuin white down padding to ensure maximum insulation even in the harshest weather conditions, combining lightness and unrivalled thermal capacity.
