La Sportiva: investments in trail running and presence throughout Italy

The Lavaredo Ultra Trail by UTMB is one of the most eagerly awaited and fascinating events of all Ultra Trail races and the sixteenth edition was also a success. The charm of the Dolomites is undoubtedly an element of attraction for runners from all over the world and this year too,  La Sportiva succeeded in creating an engaging spirit and a unique energy that transformed Cortina into a magical place.

The Trentino company, which will be the Title Sponsor of the LUT until 2026, has proposed to the La Spo Hub a rich program of events, open to all and to anyone wishing to have an inclusive and all-encompassing outdoor experience. Movie Night was spiced up by athletes of the calibre of Anton Krupicka and Michele Graglia, with the presentation of films in which they play a leading role and narrate some of their incredible enterprises in the mountains.

After the extraordinary success of the Lavaredo Ultra Trail by UTMB, La Sportiva turns its gaze to the next sporting goals on the calendar. From 7 to 9 July in Valle d'Aosta, the  Gran Trail Courmayeur took place, a competition of which the Trentino-based company has recently become the main sponsor in the footwear and clothing sector.

The event, which takes place at the foot of Mont Blanc and is organized by Vda Trailers, is the flagship event of the Mont-Blanc Trail Fest and is a much-awaited event for trail running enthusiasts, as well as athletes of course. It is a source of pride for La Sportiva to be the Main Sponsor of Gran Trail Courmayeur, as it is a strategic choice that also highlights the major investments made by the company in recent years. The innovation and technologies applied by La Sportiva have led to a revolution in the Mountain Running® collection, which today offers a vast range of products suitable for all runners' needs.

The Ziano di Fiemme company is a Sponsor of other important trail running events, including  the La Sportiva Ultra Trail Gran Sasso, scheduled from 14 to 16 July and which offers four race distances.

Also on the program of events is La Sportiva Discovery Pantelleria from 24th September to 1st October, a special occasion to savour the beauty of a land bathed by the sea, recognized for its environmental quality and sustainability.

To close the racing season, La Sportiva will be at the Wild Boar Trail in November in Palazzuolo sul Sieno in the province of Florence, in a challenging and enthralling natural environment.
