La Sportiva Climb Europe: the European tour dedicated to all climbing enthusiasts has begun

Workshops, meetings with athletes and product testing to become more familiar with the discipline and to present the brand new Mantra climbing shoe

The climbing season with La Sportiva has officially started: on Saturday, April 30, La Sportiva inaugurated the ambitious project entitled Climb Europe: an event dedicated to all enthusiasts and to the climbing community with the aim of drawing more and more people to the world of climbing and to introduce the new shoe Mantra, flagship product of the SS22 collection.
During the day, six gyms, respectively in the cities of Milan, Paris, London, Barcelona, Vienna, and Munich, hosted at the same time the start of the long European journey: all participants had the opportunity to take part in two training workshops, one in the morning and one in the afternoon, with some of the greatest athletes of the climbing world from the La Sportiva team. Among the athletes who livened up the gyms and engaged the participants were James Pearson in London, the Pou brothers in Barcelona, Hannah Schubert in Vienna, Jeremy Bonder in Paris, and Martina Demmel in Munich. In the Milanese stage, held inside the Rockspot gym, Stefano Ghisolfi and Michael Piccolruaz entertained guests with two workshops respectively on topics ranging from how to work a lead route to reading and interpret blocks.
In between the talks, participants had the opportunity to test numerous La Sportiva products, first of all Mantra: the new SS22 climbing shoe is lightweight, minimal, very suitable for indoor surfaces, designed for all medium and high level climbers looking for maximum sensitivity, grip and versatility on any type of grip, both lead and boulder.

The Climb Europe Tour will now begin, a journey over 14 European countries, stages in over 71 gyms. The project is ambitious and its goal is not only to allow enthusiasts to test the latest climbing products of the Trentino brand, but also to educate the consumer, both beginner and more experienced, in the choice of the most suitable footwear for his or her own needs, following the philosophy of "Test&Feel": testing the product and learning to feel your own foot, acquiring sensitivity and experience. In addition, every person who registers for one of the stages of the tour will have the opportunity to win products from the brand and to participate in the International Athlete Meeting at La Sportiva, in Val di Fiemme, in month of October 2022.
