Bio

I live in Belgium and was born on July 15th, 1996. Anak means child in the Indonesian language. I started climbing when I was 4 years old thanks to my parents. One of the things I enjoyed most back then, was putting on my little harness, making huge swings and hanging upside down. Climbing gradually became more serious and when I was 11 years old, I climbed my first national youth competitions. In 2010 I started doing international youth competitions and 2 years later I joined the international adult’s circuit where I made good progress and finally reached the highest level. Climbing outdoors has always been a big part of my life as well and I have kept pushing my limits on rock as the years went by. Next to everything that has to do with my sport, there are lots of other things that I enjoy as well, such as chatting with people or having deep conversations, being in nature, taking photos, learning other languages, listening to podcasts and bible teaching, reading books and articles or being creative.
