PrimaLoft® Silver Insulation – 100% PCR was designed entirely using post-consumer recycled materials to create a high performing, eco-friendly insulation.

Fibers finer than cashmere create millions of air-trapping pockets that keep you warm when the temperatures drop, while a proprietary water-repellent finish keeps you comfortable even when conditions get wet.
Lightweight and highly compressible, PrimaLoft® Silver Insulation – 100% PCR is an eco-friendly insulation that performs with a conscience.

PrimaLoft® Black Insulation ThermoPlume® - 100% PCR is comprised of small, silky plumes of fiber that mimic the lightweight warmth, softness and compressibility of natural goose down. Made from 100% post-consumer recycled polyester, this all-synthetic package features down-comparable performance – insulating loft, wet weather protection and compressibility. A special blend of PrimaLoft® proprietary fibers creates a loose-fill insulation that delivers thermal properties equivalent in construction to 500 fill power down. A proprietary finish ensures warmth, even in wet conditions. With warmth equivalent in construction to 500-550 fill power down and an available recycled option, PrimaLoft® Black Insulation ThermoPlume® represents a breakthrough in styled, sustainable performance.

L4 - INSULATION LAYER
A thermal padded layer which maintains high body temperature even in extremely cold climates.

Not only insulation but also optimal breathability. Conceived for garments used for aerobic activities and to keep humidity and sweat away from the body, our Vapovent™ 3-layer sandwich construction is applied on light insulation layers and soft shells.

At La Sportiva, we are outdoor enthusiasts and as such, we work hard every day to define our products down to the smallest detail, test their performances and look constantly for innovative solutions. Our Headquarters are in the mountains and we take to heart the improvement of eco-sustainable choices both in our daily work and in the product development and production processes.
We developed the RECYCLED logo system to communicate to customers the responsible choices we made during the product development phases, and that they can make by purchasing our products. The logo can be found throughout our apparel collection identifying items created with RECYCLED FABRIC, RECYCLED INSULATION or RECYCLED FABRIC & INSULATION.

RECYCLED FABRIC
We use recycled polyester and polyamide fibres. Recycled polyester fibers come from postconsumer PET bottles and recycled polyamide fibers are made with industrial waste.

RECYCLED INSULATION
Both in the natural and synthetic insulation our collection has now numerous styles with recycled content.

• Down has been replaced with recycled down that is certified and controlled to lower our carbon footprint
• Synthetic insulation has been replaced with PRIMALOFT® Silver ECO: weightless warmth, superior water repellence and comfort

RECYCLED FABRIC & INSULATION
This logo identifies all those items that are made of recycled materials both on the outside and on the inside.

Vapovent™Light is the evolution of our Vapovent™ 3-layer technology. Developed for active garments, this new construction made of just two layers is highly breathable, insulating, and lightweight. A tridimensional brushed mesh on the inside of the garments retains body warmth while letting sweat move toward the outside, where we combined a punched material that lets moisture evaporate.
