Sciacchetrail: sing up to the 2018 edition!

After only ten days to the registrations opening, only 150 bibs remaining.

We were left last April in the heart of Monterosso with the coronation of Fulvio Dapit and Cinzia Bertasa, both with their respective traditional “varcu” and “pagea” on their head and the audience of great events in front of them. We were left with that mix of joy and tiredness that the races, the really beautiful ones, always leave in you at the end of the games.

We are here again, now, with the trail of the Cinque Terre which officially opens the registrations to its fourth edition, that after ten days, it already brings up to 100 competitors.

A race that crosses the National Park trails and the magnificent Cinque Terre villages, Sciacchetrail has become a worldwide cult in the runner community both for its high difficulty and the beauty of the scenery where it takes place: 47 km, 2600 meters altitude gain, very short asphalt track and thousands of centennial steps.

The race, to which only 300 runners will take part due to the fragility of the territory, will be held next March 24th, 2018, with usual arrival and departure in the village of Monterosso al Mare, although the ASD Cinque Terre and Cinque Terre trekking, organizers of the event that links running and Sciacchetrà, announce some changes since past editions:

The first is about the track, which will further reduce the presence of "asphalt" along the first part up to Path 582, which will be replaced by the passage on the 591C path up to the High Street of the Cinque Terre. The modification will add nature, scenery and beauty to the competition that this year will be anticipated on Saturday (March 24th).

If you have not signed up yet, take advantage of it now, and don’t miss the unique experience of running in the heart of the Cinque Terre: sign up on the site!
