The Ultra Raptor 3 MID GTX hiking boots are as versatile as they are technical. Whether tackling a long-distance trek or hitting local trails, these shoes are an adaptable bit of kit to take you there.
The durable ripstop upper is reinforced with a rubber toe cap and rand to protect against rocks and roots. And a breathable GORE-TEX ePE Extended Comfort lining adds waterproofness. The midsole combines a soft material with a more structured layer under the heel for increased support. And the padded collar protects your ankle while keeping out stones, gravel and other debris.
A FriXion® White compound outsole with Impact Brake System™ technology provides outstanding grip for uphill traction and downhill control. Flex grooves along the sole boost freedom of movement for scrambling, while a TPU heel counter adds stability with every step.

Unfortunately in my left boot there is an edge or a seam from the heel cap beneath the inner liner which causes a blister on my heel on longer tours of 20 km. Sole has good grip on every surface in every condition and beside of the upper mentioned problem and has good damping for long trails on hard surface. The boot is very light. Gore Tex membrane keeps what it’s promising but also has its known downsides.

Really light comfortable and well made. Sizing is small I went up one size and they are still tight.
