Bio

Mina Markovic (Maribor, 23rd November 1987) is a Slovenian climber. She enjoys difficulty, boulder and speed climbing competitions, crag climbing and bouldering. She practiced many sports as a child such as gymnastics, tennis, swimming and dancing, before beginning to climb. In 2001 she began to participate in the European Youth Cup and the World Youth Championships. In 2004 she started to compete in the World Cup lead climbing contest with ever better results, until winning the trophy in 2011 and 2012. Since 2009 she has also been participating in boulder World cup trials.
