The 2018 edition of the OutDoor tradeshow in Friedrichshafen, Germany will also be an opportunity for La Sportiva, world leader in the production of technical mountaineering footwear and clothing, to continue to narrate the events in its long history, made up of passion, innovation and constant challenges and which has today reached the important milestone of 90 years of business activity.
The history of La Sportiva, founded in 1928, is made up of a series of evolutions and is characterized by the continuous challenges that La Sportiva faces, always looking a little further ahead, investing every day to build the future of a company that thinks, develops and produces in Italy.
Four generations of the Delladio family, represented today by CEO Lorenzo Delladio and his daughter Giulia, who have continued the family business tradition, bringing it to today’s success: over three hundred employees, a growing turnover that will exceed one hundred million euro in 2018 and a new production plant of 15.000 cubic metres that will be inaugurated by the end of the year and that will soon lead to the potential doubling of the production of climbing and mountaineering shoes.
