Premana è Premana, lo hanno detto a chiare lettere i protagonisti del Giir di Mont. Il paese lecchese è famoso per essere il distretto delle forbici, dei coltelli e, da oltre vent’anni, per essere la sede dell’affascinante gara di skyrunning che ieri tra pioggia, fango e tanto tifo, ha spento le sue prime 24 candeline. Ed è stato proprio il tempo prologo “protagonista” di questa ventiquattresima Giir di Mont, la gara dell’AS Premana valida come penultima tappa del circuito Mountain Running Cup La Sportiva, che ieri si è discussa sul tracciato di riserva a causa del forte temporale che si è abbattuto sulla zona per l’intera notte. La ventiquattresima Giir di Mont si è corsa comuqnue così, con 1000 runner ai nastri di partenza, sulla distanza dei 30 km con un dislivello tagliato a 2000 metri, evitando per motivi di sicurezza la salita e discesa di Bocchetta Larec, da sempre determinanti ai fini della classifica in quanto punto più alto della gara (2063 mt di quota). Tracciato “tagliato”, quindi, ma apprezzato comunque da tutti, in particolar modo da Marc Lauenstein, già campione di orienteering, e dalla rumena Ingrid Mutter, che hanno firmato la vittoria di questa 24ma edizione, quarta tappa del La Sportiva Mountain Runnning Cup. Per lo svizzero, esordio vincente in 3h05’36”, seguito da un ottimo Gil Pintarelli 3h07’30” e terza piazza per il rumeno Gyorgy Szabolcs con 3h08’46”. I due alfieri del Team La Spo Paolo Bert (6°) e Christian Varesco (11°), reduci da ottimi posizionamenti nelle gare trascorse e primi a pari merito nella classifica di circuito, hanno fatto di tutto per mantenere intatta la propria leadership, ma complice il bronzo di Szabolcs e la maggiorazione del 20% riservata a questa gara, la classifica generale sarà tutta da rivedere. Al femminile fuga vincente della debuttante Ingrid Mutter, team Valetudo, che dopo il secondo posto alla ResegUp si regala un altrosuccesso importante. Per lei finish time di 3h43’20”, dopo aver sfidato il fango di Premana con un paio di La Sportiva Mutant ai piedi. Seconda piazza per Denisa Dragomir (anche lei della Valetudo – La Sportiva), vincitrice invece alla Stava, e terza piazza per Barbara Bani.
