Questo fine settimana ha preso il via in Andorra la stagione di Coppa del Mondo ISMF, sul suggestivo e durissimo percorso dell’individuale firmata Font Blanca.
Una gara che non perdona, con quattro salite ed altrettante discese, attraversamenti mozzafiato in cresta e canalini tecnici che non lasciano spazio ad errori.
Ed è stato proprio un “errore” a rubare il primo oro stagionale all’atleta del CS Esercito Damiano Lenzi, fresco vincitore in Val di Fiemme dell’Epic Ski Tour, quando su un tratto di discesa da percorrere a piedi ha rotto un rampone. Dettaglio che non gli ha impedito di tagliare per primo il traguardo davanti al tedesco Anton Palzer, ma che lo ha penalizzato in seguito al reclamo da parte dei tecnici francesi. “Dovrebbe avere maggiore sportività - ha affermato con rammarico Lenzi riferendosi alla federazione transalpina - Palzer mi ha fatto i complimenti confermando lui stesso che la mia era una vittoria meritata”
Scivola così, una prima importante vittoria per il porta colori La Sportiva anche se, a saltare all’occhio di avversari e appassionati, è l’eccellente stato di forma del “Lence”, che sembra già orientato a non passare in sordina lungo il corso di questa stagione.
Completa il podio individuale il francese Xavier Gachet, davanti a Matteo Eydallin e Kilian Jornet.
Al femminile, indiscutibile vittoria invece per Laetitia Roux davanti alla connazionale ambassador La Sportiva Axelle Mollaret e alla svedese Emelie Forsberg.
Tra i giovani affermazioni per le due italiane Giulia Murada (su Mara Martini e Florence Buchs) tra le Junior e Alba De Silvestro (davanti ad Adele Milloz e Elisa Gayet) tra le Espoir.
Anche Davide Magnini sale sul gradino più alto del podio per la sua categoria, mettendo dietro Thibault Anselmet e un grandissimo Enrico Loss. Ancora Italia per la categoria Espoir con Federico Nicolini che sale sul terzo gradino alle spalle dello spagnolo Coll Orion Cardona e allo svizzero Remi Bonnet.
