Bio

Eneko and Iker Pou are Spanish climbers. They both enjoy crag climbing, bouldering and long routes. They are extremely versatile athletes, and although they do not compete in competitions, they are considered two of the strongest climbers in the world. They began to climb at an early age. In just two years they reached exceptional levels of performance. Especially Iker: his first 9a was in 2000 with Action Directe.
They do not participate in climbing competitions and do not like indoor climbing. They train by climbing on rock and they seek to find increasing levels of difficulty both in the crags and on long routes. Iker has climbed more than 70 routes between 8c and 9a + and climbed 8b + on sight. Among their most important climbs is the first ascent of Orbayu, considered, prior to the climb of “Dawn Wall” the most difficult multi-pitch in the world.
