Si chiude in Val D'Aosta la terza tappa de La Grande Course, incorando gli italiani Boscacci-Eydallin campioni del Tour du Rutor 2016
Ieri ad Arvier si è chiusa la diciottesima edizione della Tour du Rutor, la più estrema fra le competizioni scialpinistiche targate Made in Italy. Terza tappa del carosello internazionale de La Grande Course, la TdR2016 ha premiato la costanza nelle prestazioni degli italiani Michele Boscacci e Matteo Eydallin, arrivati all’alba dell’ultima tappa con 3’59” di vantaggio sui diretti inseguitori Remi Bonnet e Martin Anthamatten. Quarto storico successo sulle nevi valdostane per il torinese classe 1985, prima vittoria invece per l’ambassador La Sportiva di Albosaggia Michele Boscacci, che ripercorre i passi del padre (vincitore al Rutour quindici anni fa) e guadagna i punti necessari a potersi matematicamente aggiudicare la Coppa del Mondo overall ISMF 2016. Al femminile la coppia transalpina Laetitia Roux – Axelle Mollaret non lascia la minima illusione alle avversarie e, con un tris di successi che la dice lunga sul loro stato di forma, si portano a casa il titolo 2016 di reginette del Rutor . Oltre ai podi del Trofeo Tour du Rutor, gli altri titoli assegnati ieri al polifunzionale di Arvier sono andati alla coppia di Brusson Henri Grosjacques e Nadir Giovanetto per il Memorial Remo Brédy riservato alla migliore coppia valdostana. Ai francesi Alexis Sevennec – Didier Blanc invece, il trofeo “Free Ride La Sportiva” per la migliore squadra che, nel minor tempo possibile, ha effettuato le discese cronometrate delle tre tappe del Tour. Ma andiamo nel dettaglio ed illustriamo brevemente queste tre significative giornate della più Extrême delle gare scialpinistiche italiane. Day #1 Dopo tanta apprensione, lavori di tracciatura extra e notti insonni, le 335 coppie provenienti da 19 differenti nazioni si sono potute confrontare su un tappone da 2386m spalmato su quattro salite e altrettante discese. Una gara tecnica e muscolare con tanto di tratto a piedi, canalino verticale e discese che hanno esaltato le doti degli atleti più funambolici. I più forti di giornata sono stati gli azzurri Michele Boscacci – Matteo Eydallin e le transalpine Laetitia Roux – Axelle Mollaret. Non sono però mancate le sorprese visto il forfait del fortissimo duo franco tedesco di Mathéo Jacquemoud – Anton Palzer e quello delle italiane Katia Tomatis – Martina Valmassoi. Malgrado la bagarre che ha accompagnato il gruppo di testa durante tutto il percorso, sono comunque i due azzurri a tagliare il traguardo in 2h45’49”. Argento sulle spalle degli svizzeri Anthamatten e Bonnet in 2h47’33”, che precedono i francesi Sevennec – Blanc (2h48’48”). Nei dieci Bon Mardion – Gachet, Lanfranchi – Marti, Ecoeur-Arnold, Lenzi – Holzknecht, Kuhar-Hoffmann, Herrmann-Weißkopf e Reichegger – Maguet. Per le donne, davanti, nessuna sorpresa con Axelle Mollaret – Laetitia Roux a vincere in 3h26’22”. Secondo posto per le svizzere Jennifer Fiechter – Séverine Pont Combe in 3h33’00”. Terze le giovani Alba De Silvestro – Lorna Bonnel in 3h28’27”. Per quest’ultime una bella rimonta e sorpasso vincente sulle esperte Elena Nicolini – Laura Besseghini poi quarte davanti alle spagnole Marta Riba – Marta Garcia Farrés. Day #2 Pioggia in zona parterre, neve, nebbia e scarsa visibilità in quota hanno reso ancora più dura questa seconda tappa di un Millet Tour du Rutor Extrême davvero bello e combattuto. Dietro le quinte, Marco Camandona e il suo staff sono invece riusciti a proporre un itinerario davvero suggestivo nella zona dell’Arp-Vieille con 4 salite (2200 D+) e delle discese rese ancora più muscolari e insidiose da una neve particolarmente crostosa. I leader di classifica Boscacci –Eydallin non hanno fatto sconti, portandosi al comando e firmando il secondo successo consecutivo con 2h32’03". Seconda piazza ancora per gli svizzeri Bonnet – Anthamatten in 2h34’18. Terzo posto di giornata e in classifica provvisoria per i francesi Bon Mardion – Gachet ( a 5’53” dai primi). Seguono nel ranking del TdR, Blanc – Sevennec, Lanfranchi – Werner Marti, Lenzi – Holzknecht (oggi quarti di tappa), Herrmann – Weißkopf, Ecoeur-Arnold, Reichegger – Maguet e Kuhar – Hoffmann. Nella gara rosa doppio sigillo griffato Mollaret –Roux (3h18’30”) e primato finale in cassaforte con un vantaggio di 9’53” sulle svizzere Jennifer Fiechter – Séverine Pont Combe oggi seconde in 3h21’45”. Terzo posto in rimonta per le italiane Elena Nicolini – Laura Besseghini (3h24’33”). Scalano al quarto posto Alba De Silvestro – Lorna Bonnel. Day #3 Qualche goccia di pioggia, pubblico delle grandi occasioni e visibilità ai minimi termini per la tappa conclusiva, tanto da convincere lo staff a prediligere la sicurezza ed accorciare il percorso originale evitando tutta la parte del ghiacciaio. Dopo una mattinata senza troppe sorprese, i primi a presentarsi nella dirittura d’arrivo sono i francesi William Bon Mardion (team La Sportiva)– Xavier Gachet in 1h33’33”, secondi i sempre presenti Bonnet –Anthamatten (1h33’39”), terzi e vincitori della 18ª edizione in base ai vantaggi accumulati nei giorni precedenti, gli azzurri Boscacci –Eydallin (1h33’58”). La classifica finale li vede chiudere con un tempo finale di 6h51’50”, davanti al binomio svizzero che ha accusato un gap di 3’40”. Terzi i francesi Bon Mardion – Gachet a 5’28”. Sempre e solo Axelle Mollaret e Laetitia Roux nella gara in rosa. Sono loro le regine del TdR 2016 vittoriose in 8h43’17”.
