Born in 1985, I grew up with cross-country skiing that I have practiced since I was a child. Then I filled the summers with orienteering, thanks to which I was able to travel around the world a bit participating in two Junior World Championships but without great satisfaction. I love mountains and hard sports so I decided to jump on skyrunning when I was 18. My first race in the mountains was the Dreizinnen Alpine Run, a single ascent race ... and I understood them that perhaps it was better to dedicate myself to those with descents !! I "tasted" for the first time the very long ones with the Sky Marathon the following year, a race that did not leave me a very good memory (the crisis, on the other hand, I remember it very well). Then the Dolomites Skyrace, the race I love the most, the essence of skyrunning. A very hard climb and a technical descent to be done in apnea and… make mistakes! In recent years I have decided to change the environment a little by inspecting the world of trail; here I found the first successes with the first career victory at the 2012 Cortina Trail. Year that went on with the victory of the Camignada Then Sie Refuge, Troi dei Cimbri and Trail degli Eroi. The latter is the dearest race to me, for the environment, for friends, for the track, for the atmosphere that you breathe on the top of the Grappa! Then my competitive activity moved a little east. In Friuli, where I am currently a researcher in physiology and biomechanics of sport and a lecturer in Motor Sciences at the University of Udine, I train and compete. Even if I am always looking for new goals, new stimuli, new horizons ... I started flying (with paragliding) and hike & fly is becoming a new passion ... But meanwhile I continue to run, and to struggle.
