"Mountains give and mountains take.

It is a fascinating world where someone can learn a lot of it, but also can lose everything"

Albert tries to spend as much time as possible outdoors. Water in all its forms has fascinated him since he was a child: a top skier, a passionate windsurfer, a qualified meteorologist. He lives with his wife Vroni and their dog Mira in Lans near Innsbruck. He tries to find the right balance in the combination of his passions, which led him on a quest to discover the unexplored. His has made numerous and difficult first ascents on rock and ice. He is considered one of the strongest ice climbers of his generation.
A big dream came into reality for him when he worked on the intense TV-project “Iceland” for Servus-TV in 2018 and 2019. He traveled to Iceland twice for climbing and filming some really cool first ascents in the Northern part of Iceland. As well as we worked on the film at home in Austria in summer- and wintertime to get some local material. See the video HERE.
