It uses a tight fitting upper, structured in 3 layers that provides, from the inside out: comfort, thanks to the seamless construction, flexibility and structure thanks to the innovative MicroLite Skeleton™ application that follows the movement of the foot in a dynamic way while running, protection thanks to the Flex-Guard™ structural applications in microfibre that guarantee a lightweight boot but at the same time provide protection against possible abrasions running between rocks and roots. The exceptional stability is provided by the TrailCage System™ technology that is placed between the two layers of the uppers and provides structure and a snug fit integrating with the lacing system. The outsole developed by the La Sportiva R & D department uses the FriXion XT tread with Impact Brake System and the exclusive design with Trail Rocker technology that promotes natural outer heel, inner toe support of the foot when running. Shock absorption, protection and comfort, 3 sides of a perfect geometry: the origami, which inspired the overall shoe design. With Akyra racing is an art.

The La Sportiva FriXion® compound is the result of extensive R&D aimed at creating outsoles with parameters of grip and durability that respond to all types of use and terrain.

The Frixion range uses 5 custom formulated compounds from mountain running to climbing shoes.

EVA - INJECTED
Highe degree of cushoning and high elasticity of the fabric. These features assist “push off” during the propulsion phase while running, making these models who use injected midsoles, ideal for use on off-road trails. Furthermore, EVA Injected midsole drastically reduce the “squash” effect of the EVA over time, allowing the product to mantain the same features for its entire duration.

The Mountain Running® models use the exclusive eco-friendly La Sportiva insoles by OrthoLite® Hybrid, made using 20% recycled material from the production process. These insoles are designed for both men’s and women’s feet and the thicknesses and materials differ to suit the weight of the average user.

• Eco-friendly and washable: they contain recycled rubber and are machine-washable.
• Maximum wearing comfort thanks to the insole ventilation and the highly breathable PU foam cells: the foot is always dry and kept at the perfect temperature.
• They facilitate the wicking of sweat thus keeping the foot dry.
• Enhanced durability thanks to the anti-compression technology which keeps material compression down to less than 5% over time.

In general, shipments to Italy are delivered within 2/3 working days.

Shipments to the rest of the European Union take approximately 2/5 working days.

Shipments to the rest of the world take approximately 7/8 working days (not accounting for customs delays).

If you change your mind, you can return your items within 14 days of delivery.

Returned products must be unworn, unwashed and unaltered.
No refunds or exchanges are possible for customized products.
Returned products must have all the original tags and labels attached and be in their original and integral packaging, including La Sportiva box, which is not to be used as shipping packaging.

In case of return, the shipping costs and any customs duties are charged to the customer.
