Starting from 19th of February, the National Geographic production, fresh Accademy Award winner for the best documentary feature “Free Solo” is presented and distributed in Italy by ITACA srl with a tour of 40 stages

From award-winning documentary filmmaker E. Chai Vasarhelyi (“MERU”) and world-renowned photographer and mountaineer Jimmy Chin comes National Geographic Documentary Film’s FREE SOLO, a stunning, intimate and unflinching portrait of the free soloist climber Alex Honnold, as he prepares to achieve his lifelong dream: climbing the face of the world’s most famous rock, the 3,000ft El Capitan in Yosemite National Park ... without a rope.
Alex Honnold has chosen the "Freerider" route, opened in 1998 by the German alpinist Alex Huber, to accomplish his challenge, sending it on Saturday 3rd June 2017 in just 3 hours and 56 minutes.

The fresh Academy Award winner film, presented and distributed in Italy by ITACA srl The Outdoor Community comes to the Italian theatres starting from February 19, 2019 ( more info: https://www.banff.it/freesolofilm-italia/ ) with the official premiere in Milan and a following tour made by 40 stages throughout Italy.
