Sabato 11 febbraio la gara organizzata dallo Ski Alp Valdobbiadene, andrà in scena in versione "by night". Sarà individuale e non più a coppie.
Sarà il Colle bellunese sabato 11 febbraio a ospitare l’Extreme Badalis, la gara di scialpinismo, originariamente tracciata lungo i pendii sopra a Millies di Segusino. Oltre a cambiare la località di svolgimento, a causa della mancanza di neve sul Monte Cesen, anche gli orari della manifestazione slittano al pomeriggio di sabato, infatti la partenza è prevista dal piazzale del Nevegal alle 17:30. Un’altra novità importante riguarda la modalità di partecipazione, l’Extreme Badalis, tradizionalmente gara a squadre, sarà individuale.
Il tracciato di gara, che potrà subire qualche lieve modifica nel corso di questa ultima settimana di precipitazioni nevose prevede due salite fuoripista e due discese in pista per garantire la massima sicurezza. Proprio perché la gara partirà all’imbrunire oltre alla tradizionale dotazione da inserire nello zaino, lo Ski Alp Valdobbiadene richiederà l’uso della lampada frontale.
Per quanto riguarda il Crazy Skialp Tour, dopo il rinvio della Scialpinistica Pizzo Tre Signori (per il momento rinviata a data da destinarsi), la Extreme Badalis figura come prima tappa della seconda edizione del circuito. La filosofia del circuito è di proporre gare di vero scialpinismo in paesi dove questo sport è molto sentito per tradizione e per l’impegno di associazioni che da anni portano avanti gare tecniche e in ambiente.
In questo caso, dopo lo slittamento della tappa inaugurale, vista la situazione di questo strano inverno privo di precipitazioni l’obiettivo è fare correre la gente. Quindi ben venga il “piano B” di sfruttare gli impianti del Nevegal in versione by night.
