Work continues on our new project to design a ski touring boot in carbonium. Regular discussions between the three technicians (Dino, Diego and Giuliano) has led to significant steps forward, with work commencing on the second pilot run that will enable field testing on snow. 

At the same time, closure and fastening systems are being examined, taking into account the simple and efficient movements required by mountaineers when under stress in high altitude conditions. Careful attention has been given to retain the weight of the boot without compromising on safety and reliability.

It has also been decided that Diego Amplatz will be responsible for the sales and technical assistance of this first limited edition, and the first boots produced will be available throughout his stores in Canazei. The production will be a limited edition only, while we await the opening of the new industrial plant (already being built and due to open in 2009), which will be able to meet the numerous orders we have already received.
