.Show climbing Val di Non. A few days after Cavareno it's time for Malè
to host the classic difficulty master. As every year the competition is
organized in the village place and another time is the stakanovist of the
national route setters, Leonardo Di Marino, to propose interesting and
functional competition routes. A thing that the strong climber from Padua
manages to do always very well. This year, among other things, he was also
able to participate as athlete to a few Coppa Italia rounds, besides, with
optimum results. Attending the competition also two strong Russian
climbers, Evgeni Ovtchinnikov and Olga Bibik. Semifinals Friday afternoon
with the young Flavio Crespi in great evidence, in front of Donato Lella
and the World Champion Dino Lagni, who
returned to the competitions. In the women's field same story, although
the presence of the foreign climbers, Jenny Lavarda seems of another
category. The new thing of the competition was the final "worked
route". The athletes tried the route for twenty minutes on Saturday
afternoon. In the evening, great show. In the Malè place, filled to the
incredible, the climbers fight as never before on a very difficult route
that they already know. Over all is Dino Lagni, in front of a very
promising Crespi, followed, in third position, by the very strong
Ovtchinnikov. In the women's field Lavarda always in front of all others,
here the Russian Bibik and Martina Artioli.
