| After the season begin
with the bouldering in Bolzano, the moment arrives of the most important national trophy,
the Coppa Italia Difficulty. The competition was organised by the Ente Grotte Frasassi and the Group Manitoba in Genga (Ancona). Route setter Leonardo Di Marino, as always very professional in creating the routes, altough may be the wall was too small for a competition of the national senior circuit 73 competitors, 52 men and 21 women. The competition starts on Saturday afternoon, with the men's qualification,. |
on two routes to be climbed in style "flash". Good performances in this first round of Luigi Billoro from Padova, Marco Mosca from Monza and Luca Modoni and Oscar Amici from the region Emilia. The next day is the one of the semifinals, with contemporaneous climbing of women and men. In the women's field Lavarda, Iovane, Benetti, Marchisio e Artioli climb the qualification route to the top. In the men's category, Brenna, Calibani and Core reach the chain. After a few hours interruption due to the bad weather, the finals begin. |

draw attention to the optimum performance in the final of the fifteen year old Cinzia
Donati,another young hope for the future of the national sport climbing. In the men's field Christian Brenna begins again to collect victories, this time in front of the strong Dino Lagni from Vicenza, third Christian Core. |
