 At the beginnig it seamed
that it would have become a national Master,instead, in the last minute, this competition
was accepted as a Coppa Italia. Good success for the event, with the route setter Leonardo
DiMarino, who this year even returned to the competitions as a competitor. Unfortunately
the small dimension of the wall obliged the route setter tobuild complicated routes, but
the final result has been, like always, morethan accettable. In the men's field another
victory for Christian Core of Savona, this year in great form and definitely intentioned
to win the national trophy. Behind him, his colleague of the Fiamme Oro, Luca Giupponi,
who confirms the period of great form, that allowed him to climb the first 8a+ routes on
sight of his career. Third place for Luca "Canon" Zardini of Cortina, while the
young Flavio Crespi, (19 year old), gets a great performance with the fourth place. Big
surprise instead in the women's field, where the 14 year old Jenny Lavarda conquers her
first national victory. Second Luisa Iovane, third Lisa Benetti. |
